David Miles and Deanna Miles, both of Baldwin City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Miles, to Eric Black, son of Larry and Jeanne Black, also of Baldwin City.

The bride-to-be graduated from Baldwin High School in 2004. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Kansas.

The future groom graduated from Baldwin High School in 2002. He received a bachelor's degree in communication studies from the University of Kansas in 2006. He is currently employed by E & E Electric, in Baldwin City.

The couple plans a June 28, 2008, wedding at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence, Kan.
