The team continued their torrid offensive pace with another double-digit run scoring performance against Humansville on Monday. Nevada, now at 6-6, outscored Humansville, whose record is now 10-2, 10-0 in the run-rule shortened game. The Lady Tigers offense generated the 10 runs in the shortened contest as the game was called when Nevada scored its 10th run with just one out in the fifth. Mary Ann Kennon who singled and double led Nevada's eight hit attack. Dani Stanhope reached base on all four of her at-bats to help the Lady Tiger cause. Rachel Kennedy held Humansville to two hits while striking out seven to get the win.
Nevada's junior varsity emerged victorious as well with a 6-4 win. Andi Alexander, Jessica Davis, and Mallory Ast collected the three Nevada hits in the game. Davis, the winning pitcher in the junior varsity contest, struck out three batters.
