On Sept. 11, 2007, family and friends gathered at the First Baptist Church in Nevada to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Charlie and Dinah Smith. The Rev. Bill Cox performed a wedding vow renewal for the couple, followed by refreshments and socializing.

The event was hosted by the couple's daughters, Debbie Galimberto and Dena Crews.

The Smiths expressed their appreciation to everyone who joined them in their celebration.
