Mrs. Sue C. Freeman, age 90, of Alpharetta, Ga., died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2007. She was born Oct. 14, 1921 in Liberty, Mo. and was the daughter of William H. and Georgia D. Cowan.

Mrs. Freeman is survived by her son; John A. Freeman of Alpharetta, GA; daughter, Susan F. Field of New York, N.Y.; two brothers, Donald P. Cowan of Olathe, Kan. and Charles Cowan of Brevard, N.C. and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m., in the Church of the Savior in Roswell, Ga. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 12 p.m., at Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Scott, Kan. Memorial contributions are suggested to the North American Home Mission Board, 4200 North Point Parkway, Alpharetta, Ga. 30022. Local services are under the direction of Cheney Witt Chapel, 201 S. Main.
