Anti-Van public perfomance set for tonight

Wednesday, October 31, 2007

Tuesday night, Nevada High School students performed a preview of their annual Anti-Van variety show, titled, "It's the Great Squash Chuck," for fellow students and parents. Directed by Richard Daut, the show boasted everything from solo vocalists and guitarists to the Nevada Tiger Pride Marching Band filling the entire stage and all the aisles of the auditorium. A couple of the shows highlights were the NHS Dance Team performing a modern dance to "Rama Rama, Bang Bang!," and electric guitarist Kyle Norbury performing "London Bridge Has Erupted." The Anti-Van production is used every Halloween as a positive outlet for students and community members, keeping them off the streets away from vandalism and other illegal activities. Anti-Van will be performed again tonight at 7 o'clock, and will be open to the entire community. Admission to the show is $3.
