Bush, Witt win Halloween scramble

The team of Mike Bush and Scott Witt of El Dorado Springs carded a 63 to take first place in Championship Flight at the Halloween Classic Golf Tournament at Frank E. Peters Golf Course on Saturday.

Tyler Judd and Joe Swearingen of Nevada placed second at 64, followed by Kevin Borland and Joe Borland (69). Nevada's Bill Hardin and Joe Hardin placed fourth, also with a round of 69.

Steve Ellis of Plesanton, Kan., and Gary Schmitz of Mound City, Kan., had a 75 and took first place in A Flight. Mark Gayman and Randy Gammon of Nevada were second, John Klingaman and Doug Campbell of Nevada took third and John Diebold of Wichita, Kan., and Adam Burgess of Nevada finished fourth. All teams had 75s.

Jesse Ornelas and Ken Richmond of Nevada won B Flight with a score of 80.

Dennis Berry of Walker and Tim Mohrmann of Nevada placed second while Manny Roldan and Tony Roldan of Nevada were third. Shirold Moore and Raymond Shumaker of Nevada finished fourth. All teams carded 80s.
