Look for copies of the Crimson and Gray in Friday's Nevada Daily Mail

The Nevada Daily Mail has teamed up with the Nevada R-5 School District to offer the Crimson and Gray school newspaper once a month in the Friday edition. The first Crimson and Gray will be included in the Nov. 16 edition of the Nevada Daily Mail.

Nevada Daily Mail Publisher Julie Righter is excited to be working with the school district, as is Superintendent Craig Noah.

"This is a great opportunity for the paper to work with the school system," Righter said. "I think Craig Noah is excited as well. Other projects will come in the future. Educating our kids is one of the most important things that we can do in our society."

Noah said the partnership helped the district keep in touch with people who might not have children in school, or have a student in middle school but don't get information on what the high school is doing.

"We thought it was another good way to get information out to the community. What better way than to use the Daily Mail?" Noah said. "We thought it would be a good way to get in touch with people who are interested in the district but who no longer have students in school or have a child in one school but wouldn't otherwise get any information on what is happening in other schools."
