This week is a time spotlighting the importance of every child in the Nation receiving a quality education. Honoring them for the job they do the school board has supplied the faculty of all five R-5 schools breakfast one day this week. A statement from the board provided to the Daily Mail said, "National Education Week provides a time-honored opportunity to celebrate schools. It's a week for thanking those who make a difference in the schools: teachers, educational support professionals, parents, administrators and community volunteers. It's a week for publicly spotlighting how important education is to the health and well-being of our children -- and our nation. The Nevada R-5 School District Board of Education appreciates the hard work and dedication of our staff. We are honored and privileged to have the opportunity to work with such a caring group of individuals and we certainly want to take this opportunity to say to all of our employees, 'Thank you for all that you do for our students, you are what makes Nevada Schools truly special.'"
