Board OKs archiving system for digital radiology

Fees charged at NRMC remain below national averages, Judy Feuquay, Nevada Regional Medical Center's CEO, told the hospital's board of directors during a meeting on Tuesday, after telling the board some of the details of a report to the Nevada City Council, which is mandated by a city ordinance. She gave the council the highlights for 2007 which included physician recruitment, upgrading the physical plant, upgrading equipment and converting the employee health insurance to a self-funded program. Feuquay noted that even with all the expenditures NRMC provided low-cost care.
