The Nevada Tigers wrestling team beat Bolivar in their duel meet Thursday night by a score of 45-30.
Although not wrestling on their home mats, Nevada's wrestlers won 8 of 14 matches in the duel, 6 coming by fall, 1 by forfeit and 1 by decision. The night's winners for Nevada included Dominic Habjan at 112 pounds, Mason Heard at 119, Austin Payne at 130, Josh Palmer at 145, Cole Bond at 160, Spenser Daniels at 189, Ryan Herda at 215 and Jerrod Alexander at 205.
Payne, Palmer, Bond, Daniels, Herda and Alexander all had wins coming by fall. Habjan's win came to him by forfeit and Heard won by decision.
The Tigers' next meet is the Monett tournament, which was scheduled for Jan. 5, in Monett.
