Cottey College dominates at Florissant ValleyWednesday, January 9, 2008
The Cottey College Comets rolled their way to a dominant win over Florissant Valley Monday night.
Led by Brittany Smith with 28 points and Liz Wagoner with 15 rebounds, the Comets dashed Florissant Valley 85-48. The Comets put down 7 treys as a team, but only made 2 of 6 free throws in the game. Florissant Valley was led in scoring by N. Harris in the loss. With only 3 shots made from beyond the arc, they were aided somewhat by hitting 7 of 15 from the line. This latest win pushes the Comets' record to 8-4. |
