Court warming candidates

Ralph Pokorny/Nevada Daily Mail-- Nevada High School's 2008 Courtwarming activities will kick-off at about 6:15 Friday night when one of four seniors, Jordan Webb, Kadee Hughes, Emma Dreyer or Molly Ferree is crowned as 2008 Courtwarming Queen. Because two of the candidates are members of the Lady Tigers basketball team the usual game schedule will be reversed, with the boys varsity game with the McDonald County Mustangs starting at about 6:35, following the Courtwarming Coronation, and the girls varsity game set to tip-off at about 8 p.m. To accommodate the change in the schedule the girls junior varsity contest is set to start at 4:50 p.m. in the middle school gymnasium, with the boys junior varsity scheduled for a 5 p.m. start in Wynn Gymnasium.
