Harold Lee Rodick Sr., 73, Nevada, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. He was born July 14, 1934, in Barnes, Kan., to Alvin H. Rodick and Marie Anna Hatesohi Rodick.

Harold was born and reared in Greenleaf, Kan. He made his living as a salesman, primarily in the auto parts industry.

Survivors include five sons, Brad Rodick, Kansas City, Mo., Lee Rodick, Birmingham, Ala., Steve Rodick, Kansas City, Jerald Rodick, Birmingham, Ala., and Harold Rodick Jr., Branson, Mo.; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Alvin Rodick, Whitehall, Md.; one sister, Delores Bathauer. Barnes, Kan.; and close companion, Louise Stacy, Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lloyd Rodick.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Johannes Brann officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, in Nevada.

Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and the family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.

The family suggests that memorials may be made in his honor to the American Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
