Peter, Peter, pumpkin eater

Friday, January 18, 2008

A thief broke into the Nevada High School, ate a pie and went home. Unfortunately for the juvenile his actions were caught by the school's security system and he was identified. He broke in at approximately 4:15 a.m. and ate Mrs. Dryer's pumpkin pie, which was left over from Thursday's Matwarming dinner, then left at approximately 5 a.m.

Superintendent, Craig Noah reported that despite some of the rumors flying around the thief did not consume a plate of cookies as well. Noah said the youth responsible had been apprehended and juvenile authorities would follow up.

Noah said the security system at the school functioned well and was the reason the youth was identified.

"The system worked as it was supposed to," Noah said. "The young man was identified and was picked up."

That is just too darn funny. I hope the pie was good!

This would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Aren't we so proud that we have the ability to pick up a hungry child. He ate a pie, did he take anything, or destroy anything? This is to sad to be funny.
