Nevada girls rebound their way past Lamar

The Nevada Lady Tigers pulled off another win Thursday night over Lamar.

Led by Jordan Webb with 12 points and Lindsay Rice and Heather Thomas, each with 11 points, the Lady Tigers clawed their way past Lamar, 49-41, bumping the Lady Tigers' record up to 5-9. Each team made 13 free throws in the game, Nevada in 27 attempts and Lamar in 18 and 4 treys each.

"It was an exciting win for our team," head coach Brent Bartlett said, reflecting on the team's performance. "The girls rebounded better than I have ever seen them during this game. The team effort was tremendous and I am happy for our kids."
