Mrs. Daugherty was born June 9, 1942, in Bronaugh, to Mabel and Joy Funk. She was valedictorian of her senior class at Bronaugh High School and shortly thereafter she went to work for the FBI and worked 36-plus years retiring in 1997. She was a member since 1979 and president in 1984 of the BPO Does Drove No. 74, Kansas City. She served as their musician for many years. She also enjoyed her Doe Sisters. She enjoyed many years association with Boilermakers Local 83, Kansas City, her husband's employer. Mrs. Daugherty was a member of Bronaugh Christian Church. Her hobbies included playing the piano and collecting Swarovski crystal. She also collected butterfly jewelry.
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry G. Daugherty; two brothers, Marvin Joy Funk of Paris, Ky., and Robert Thurman Funk of Bronaugh, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and-nephews.
She found great pleasure in her family and many friends.
