Construction supplies lay in the lot where Vernon County's new jail is to be built, with construction set to begin this spring. These materials are to be used as part of the 60-by-100-foot metal storage building which will neighbor the jail. Water drainage issues and poor weather conditions have postponed the construction of this building for several weeks.

I thought we were paying for new jail not storage buildings. whats next tennis courts? I would like to be turned loose with an OPEN check-book. I bet the total bill on this will choke a horse. Not the right place for this but I"m sure somebody will tell me where it is. We need a SHERIFF FIRST that will serve ALL the people, not just the ones in the CLICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
