Sanders averaged 11.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game, with a career high of 26 against Cabot in the first round of the Arkansas state playoffs. She received three post-season awards in her senior year and was the Northwest Arkansas Fellowship of Christian Athletes Female Athlete of the Year.
"Amanda is an athletic forward with excellent shooting skills," Cottey head coach Dave Ketterman said. "She has a good mid-range game, gets to the free throw line often and scores well in transition. Her experience playing in the 7A West Conference will allow her to adjust to the college game quickly."
Sanders also excelled in the class room at Bentonville. She will graduate with honors with a 3.7 grade point average and is a member of the National Honor Society, as well as the Principal's Honor Roll.
