On Tuesday, May 6, 2008, Ricky Dean White, age 49, passed away at his home in his sleep.
Rick was born May 13, 1958, in Nevada, and reared in El Dorado Springs, where he met and married his wife of 28 years, Vicky Lou Ann McFarland White.
Rick lived for his strong believe in God and his family. He is most known for his adoration and skill in playing pool, having played in Nevada and Fort Scott leagues for several years. He was a very avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Rick loved all aspects of nature, whether it be hunting, fishing or simply monitoring weather. Most of all he was very giving and big hearted.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Vicky Livengood and Rushelle Hardy; his step-father, Wayne Ellis; and grandmother Zoe Coleman.
Suvivors, in addtion to his wife Vicky, include: three daughters, Jackie, Allyscia, and Lacey White; four grandchildren, Tierra, Ricky, Victoria and Jaymin; his parents Doris Ellis, George Hardy and Dale White; two sisters Sherri Otter and Tracy Kirby; his brother, Eddie Hardy; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial sevices will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, May 10, at Hackleman Chapel, in El Dorado Springs, with the Rev. James Coleman officiating.
Arrangemetns are under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
