Nevada students take first at stock market games

Students from Nevada High School were honored by The Missouri Council on Economic Education at The Stock Market Game Program, Awards Dinner, April 29, in Springfield. This team built a portfolio amounting to $112,835.27 placing them in first place for the West Central Region. The program is a ten-week simulation in which students are given a fictional $100,000 to invest in shares of stock on the New York Stock Exchange, American Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ Market.
