Local scouts donate treats to troops

Submitted Photo Members of the 4438 Girl Scout Troop after collecting funds in order to mail U.S. Soldiers stationed in Iraq boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. As a community service project, Brownie Girl Scout Troop No. 4438 asked businesses to pay for cases of Girl Scout cookies that would be shipped to U.S. Soldiers in Iraq.

Precision Aero Services paid for the cookies to be shipped over and the following businesses paid for the cookies:

Kelly's Mobile Wash, Nevada Firefighters Local 3031, Edward Jones Financial, Thorco, 54 Vet Clinic, Nevada Raceway, CMJ Financial, Ring TV, Robin Moore Chiropratic, Daylight Donuts, The Roadhouse, A Plus Metals, Ketter Motors, S & B Liquor El Dorado Springs, David's Tire, Sports Plex, Nevada Auto Mall, Rod Loomer, Fortner Graphix Solutions, Dr. Michael and Cammie Housh DDS Family Dentistry of El Dorado Springs, Girl Scout Troop No. 4438, local donations collected and Precision Aero Services.

The girls also drew pictures and wrote letters to the soldiers to send along with the cookies.

Girl Scout Troop No. 4427 had several boxes of Girl Scout candy donated which was sent to the troops as well.
