FORT SCOTT, Kan. -- The Fort Scott Recreation Commission sponsored a home run derby Monday night at Fisher Park South. The results were as follows:

* Nine-year-olds: 1. Grant Goldston, 2. Brady Tourtillott, 3. Lucas Gillen.

* 10-year-olds: 1. Chase Brown, 2. Jake Bradbury, 3. Baily Brown.

* 11-year-olds: 1. Mason Knopp, 2. Wyatt Reehl, 3. John Hughes.

* 12-year-olds: 1. Brianne Lawrence, 2. Clayton Hixson, 3. Ericah Shoemaker.

First-place finishers received a first-place trophy, baseball and a T-shirt. Second- and third-place finishers received medals.
