The first event, a soccer game, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Airport Soccer Field in El Dorado Springs. The game will start at 10 a.m.
The next event will be a baseball game which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the baseball diamond at the golf course in El Dorado Springs, at 10 a.m.
The final fall event will be a Dodgeball tournament at the El Dorado Community Center on Saturday, Nov. 15. The tournament will be from 10 a.m. to noon.
Monthly meetings to plan for each of the events will be held on the second Friday of each month at 7 p.m., in the meeting room at the Cedar County Memorial Hospital. The November meeting will take place on the first Friday, which is Nov. 7.
Anyone who is either a parent of a special needs individual or anyone interested in volunteering for any of the events may attend either the planning meeting or event.
Challengers United is an athletic program for both children and adults with special needs. The program is for anybody living in the El Dorado Springs, Stockton, Bolivar, Nevada, Roscoe, Osceola, Appleton and other nearby communities.
