Lady Tiger golfers fall short to Carl Junction

Despite having two of the top three finishes in the match against Carl Junction at the Frank E. Peters Golf Course Tuesday, the Lady Tigers fell short, losing 205-217.

Carl Junction's Natalie Bird completed the par-36 back nine with the best score of the match, one over par at 37. Her closest competitor was Nevada's Melea Galimberto, 10 strokes back at 47.

Nevada's Mariah Jones rounded out the top three, completing the course in 53 strokes.

Nevada will be in action for the next time at the Joplin Lady Eagle Invitational at the Twin Hills Country Club on Thursday, with a shotgun start time of 12 p. m..
