Fundraiser buys new golf course mower

The Nevada Senior Men's Golf League held a drawing on June 12, for a Ruger rifle and case valued at $1,071, which was won by Charlie Smith of Nevada. The 30 members sold tickets over a four-month period and raised $1,800 which was presented to Mike Myer by David Grubb to purchase this mower, driven by Alex Breshears. "Thank you to all who purchased tickets and a special thank you to the person who donated the prize," officials said. --Eric Wade/Daily Mail
