Late Model
Heat race winners were Steve Johnson, Joplin and Donnie Timmerman, El Dorado Springs. Timmerman gained the lead at the start of the feature. Zackery Simmons, Rusty Skaggs and Jared Addington all wanted the same spot at the same time resulting in Simmons getting turned around and a yellow flag flew. Since a lap hadn't been completed, the field went back to an original lineup restart. This time, Steve Johnson gained the lead. After two more original lineup restarts, the race was underway with Johnson in the lead and Skaggs chasing him down. Skaggs took the inside lane, gained the lead and pulled away from the balance of the field. Parts on the track brought out another yellow and Skaggs led the field to the green once again. Johnson had maintained the second place for most of the race until the white flag flew. Timmerman got the inside lane and took the position. Skaggs collected the win, his fifth of the season.
Modified
Heat race winners were Craig Wood, El Dorado Springs, Brian Bolin, Fort Scott, Kan., and Johnny Fennewald, Appleton City. Bolin got the lead at the start of the feature and was leaving the field behind when Darrell Jackson got a flat tire and stopped at the top of the track, bringing out a yellow flag. Bolin led the field to the green. Another yellow flew as Gregg Piotrowski had an engine failure, was smoking badly and slowed on the track. This didn't slow Bolin as he left the entire field behind to claim the win, his eighth of the season.

Factory Stock
Heat race winners were Daniel Jesson, Joplin and Mark Selsor, Nevada. The $350 to win feature got under way with Jesson in the lead. Colt Umphenour got a little low on the track, got into the mud, bounced around but kept on going. A yellow flag flew as John Perry spun and sat sideways on the track, collecting Jeremy McConville. This erased Jesson's lead and closed the field behind him for the restart. Umphenour, who had made it back up to third place, spun bringing out the yellow flag and once again closing the field behind Jesson for the restart. Jesson was able to hold off the field and collect the win, his third of the season and the big check.
Mini-Stock
Heat race winner was Greg Cassidy, Nevada. Cassidy got the lead at the start of the feature and left the field behind. We all had an anxious moment when Mike Baxter got sideways in the track but was able to get straightened back out and keep racing. Cassidy led all the way for the win, his first of the season.
