The Nevada Lady Tigers golf team competed in the Colgan Invitational on Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Nevada finished fifth of the 10 teams that competed in the tournament, posting a total team score of 437. Three Lady Tiger golfers finished very close together near the top 10 in individual scores.

Mariah Jones put up the best individual score of the day for Nevada, finishing the course in ninth place with a score of 104. Melea Galimberto tied for the 10th spot with Miranda Evans and Paige Chaffin with a final score of 105 while Lakyn Mansfield found herself in a tie for 13th with Lindsey Testerman and Kasey Schoech at 108.

Nevada's other two competitors in the tournament, Jessica Mosbrucker and Morgan Turner, finished 33rd and 47th, respectively. The Lady Tigers are scheduled to be in competition again this afternoon as they travel to Briarbrook Country Club in Carl Junction.
