Middle School volleyball takes another win

The Nevada Middle School seventh and eighth grade volleyball teams competed against Joplin South Monday night.

All four teams for Nevada were able to pick up victories in fairly convincing fashion. The seventh grade B team took the match in two sets 25-21, 25-8 while the A team won a much closer match 25-23, 25-19.

The eighth graders had similar success as the B team won their match 25-17, 25-19. The A team took a decisive victory in their match as they dominated Joplin South 25-8, 25-13.

The seventh graders were scheduled to be in action again on the road on Tuesday in Lamar while the eighth grade teams were set to play Lamar at home. The final two matches of the year are scheduled for Oct. 13 and 14 when the seventh grade teams travel to Carthage and the eighth graders go to Joplin for Tri-County tournaments.
