In the first match of the day, the Lady Tigers found themselves on the winning end of a close match agains Odessa as they took the victory 25-18, 25-21. Match two was very simlar, but this time the Lady Tigers were only able to manage a 25-20, 20-25 split against Belton.
In the first match of bracket play, the Lady Tigers found themselves in a bit of a struggle and came up on the wrong end of the match against Harrisonville. The Wildcats ended up taking down Nevada in two sets, 18-25, 20, 25 to send them down to the loser's bracket.
After that, The Lady Tigers took a 25-14, 26-24 win over Raytown South that they followed up with a 28-30, 26-24, 25-22 win over Belton to take fifth in the tournament.
Mariah Mock had a team-high 43 kills and 19 blocks on the day while Heidi Wilson put up 25 points. Emily Moore led with 70 digs and Kori Lowery finished with 48 assists.
The Lady Tigers were scheduled to be in action again on Monday as they traveled to Butler and will finish out the season with Senior night against Webb City on Thursday.
