Feb. 1

There were reports of a domestic assault in the Nevada area, a road hazard in the Nevada area, an animal in the Nevada area, a property damage in the Schell City area, and a domestic assault in the Walker area.

Melissa L. Dunfield, 29, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of driving while suspended. She was released on a $225 bond.

Jamie L. Riley, 40, of Moundville, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of failure to maintain lane and driving while intoxicated. She was released on a $694 bond.

Feb. 2

There were reports of a harassment in the Harwood area, a theft in the Nevada area, a vehicle fire in the Butler area, signs down in the Nevada area, drugs in the Deerfield area, road signs down in the Deerfield area, a fire in the Bronaugh area, an ex parte violation in the Nevada area, horses out in the Nevada area, and a stranded motorist in the Walker area.

Clinton M. Hewitt, 50, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear for driving while intoxicated, failure to appear for no tail lights, failure to appear for failure to stop at a stop sign, and failure to appear for no license plates. He is being held in lieu of a $745 cash only bond.

Charles M. Morgan, 28, of Grove, Okla., was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of minor in posession. He was released on a $200 bond.
