Interested parties have through the end of February to participate in Prairie Pride's latest equity drive. A story published on Feb. 2 indicated that the drive was slated to end on Jan. 30; but according to Caroline Phillips, human resources coordinator for Prairie Pride Inc., the board of directors voted to extend the equity drive for 30 more days in hopes that their $10 million goal could be met by current and new members.
Prairie Pride, Inc. is a producer cooperative that uses soybeans to make biodiesel fuel and soy meal, at Deerfield.
