The phones have been ringing, e-mails are pouring in from area residents that are ready to get tickets to the David Allan Coe Children's Mercy Concert that is to be held at the Nevada Speedway on Saturday April 18, 2009. The tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009 at two locations in Vernon County: Tobacco Shack, located on east Austin Boulevard, in Nevada, and the Moundville Market located on 43 Highway in Moundville.
Two types of advance tickets will be available, the general admission ticket, that is available for $15, and the track ticket that will be available for $25.
The locations will also be accepting a donation for $1 for Children's Mercy, and will give those donors a chance-to-win two backstage passes, and a David Allan Coe guitar.
Other ticket outlets will be announced as they unfold in the surrounding area, and information can be found online at www.localear.info, or by calling the 24-hour information line at (417) 684-1732, to hear the newest developments on the concert at anytime.
