Nevel M. Turner

Nevel M. Turner, 87, of Nevada, passed away Thursday March 19, 2009, in Grove, Okla. Nevel was born in Marion County, Ark., near Mountain Home, Ark.

Nevel moved to Grove in January of this year to be taken care of by her son and his wife. She worked as a seamstress in Nelly Dawn Garment Factory in Nevada for many years.

Nevel is preceded in death by both of her parents, three brothers; three sisters; and two grandsons, Kenny Crow of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jeffery Terry, of Nevada.

Nevel is survived by one daughter,, Cheryl Bennett of Albuquerque, N.M.; one son, Darwood Terry and wife Clara of Grove, Okla.; two grandchildren, Stephanie Lusk and husband Brian, of Lake of Ozarks, Ark., and Ronald Terry and wife Sonja, of Nevada. Nevel is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Newton Cemetery in Nevada.
