Flora Delia Gibson

Flora Delia Gibson, 74, Nevada, passed away Monday morning, March 23, 2009, as the result of an accident. She was born on Oct. 24, 1934, in Sargent, Ga., to Harris Arrington and Felmer Stitcher Arrington.

At the age of 18, Flora moved to Kansas City from Georgia and later moved to Nevada in her 20s where she has lived ever since. Flora worked more than 30 years at Moore-Few nursing home in Nevada until her retirement. She later did private nursing care.

Survivors include one son, Marion Gibson, and her good friend, Linda Sewell, of Nevada.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, March 26, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
