Playin' around

Students from Nevada Middle School enjoy tossing flying discs around the course at Marmaduke Park as part of the Lifetime Sports Class for summer school. Sherry Bickel and Marsha Hooper supervised the activity. "I think this is fun for the kids and it should help get the word out on the course," Hooper said. "This is a great resource for the city of Nevada and more people should take advantage of it." The course opened in August 2008, and is a 1,700-foot, nine-hole facility. --Steve Moyer/Daily Mail
