In a related matter, the council is slated to discuss the search for a permanent city manager.
The council will also be considering a liquor by the drink license for the Cherry Street Bistro, 127 E. Cherry. This is the former location of the Cherry Street Grill.
Other items on the agenda include second reading of an ordinance amending the city's contract with Rosetta Construction to reduce the amount of the contract by $7,146.08 because the sewer line under U.S. Highway 54 will not need to be replaced and to extend the completion date by 185 days.
The council will also be holding the second reading of an ordinance establishing the permanent fee structure for the Marmaduke Park Community Building, as well as, considering a request from the Local Firefighters Union 3031 for a solicitors license for Labor Day weekend.
