A single vehicle accident occured Thursday one mile south of Camp Clark in the northbound lane of U.S. 71 Highway when a cloudburst and spray from a tractor-trailer caused Adam Coleman, 21, of Schell City, to lose sight of the road and control of a 1985 Toyota Corolla and exit the right side of the roadway, sliding 300 feet along the ditch. Coleman said, "The visibility was so bad I didn't see the curve." Neither Coleman nor the passenger Andrew Coleman, 17, Schell City, suffered any injuries. No citations were issued and after a family member pulled the vihicle from the ditch, Coleman drove it from the scene. --Rusty Murry/Daily Mail
