Red Cross Bloodmobile collects 130 units of blood

A total of 130 units of blood was collected at the American Red Cross bloodmobile which visited Nevada last week. An additional 50 units of blood was collected at the 3M bloodmobile last this past week, according to a press release from the American Red Cross.

The following persons received their gallon donation pins: 16 gallons, Roy McReynolds; 14 gallons, Diane Martin and Deborah Wadel; seven gallons, David Badgley and Bill Shafer; four gallons, James Bartlett and Cynthia Bullard; three gallons, Norman Noel; two gallons, Sherry Shaw, Cynthia Frazier and Dianna Wortman; and one gallon, Marlana Shipley, Roman Borntrager, William Simmons, and Eva Schatz.

First time donors to the bloodmobile this month were Ashli Connelly, Harley Miller, Kathy Greer, Kora Anderson, Rannon Claypool, Benny Troyer, Shannon Jones and Ashley Coffer

The next visit of the American Red Cross Bloodmobile to Nevada will be Sept 10-11, at the First Baptist Church, 301 East Highland St.
