Glenness was born and reared in Wisconsin and spent most of her adult life in Wisconsin and Arizona. She lived in Vernon County for several years in the 1990s and returned in 2002 and has resided here since. She worked for many years as a chef in a number of restaurants in a variety of locales. Glenness was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include one son, Gary Grosskopf, Mishicot, Wis.; three daughters, Suzanne Borowski, Green Bay, Wis., Pamela Castro, Goodyear, Ariz, and Tracy Gajda, Nevada; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Allen Grosskopf and one brother, George Altmann.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, July 25, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nevada, with the Rev. Justin Hoye, Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nevada. Friends may call now and until 8 p.m., Friday, July 24, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
