Aug. 12

There were reports of a stranded motorist in the Milo area, a dangerous animal in the Sheldon area, a suspicious vehicle in the Nevada area, a dog bite in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, a vandalism in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, and a vehicle accident in the Nevada area.

Jennifer L. Crews, 31, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of two counts of probation violation. She is being held without bond.

Aug. 13

There were reports of a suspicious vehicle in the Schell City area, a suspicious vehicle in the Nevada, a four-wheeled ATV in the Nevada area, an alarm in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Walker area, abandoned vehicle in the Rich Hill area, an alarm in the Nevada area, a vehicle theft in the Nevada area, a check well being the Moundville area, and trespassing in the Horton area.

Patrick L. Johnson, 43, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of assault. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Lewis P. Fields, 24, of Butler, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of passing bad checks. He was released on a $400 bond.

Randall G. Call, 52, of Horton, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of trespassing. He is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
