Wayne Calliard "Tex" Ritter Jr., age 67, of Pleasanton, Kan., died Friday, Sept. 4, 2009, at Neosho Memorial Medical Center, in Chanute, Kan.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 7, at the Liberty Worship Center, in Pleasanton. Burial will be in the Prescott Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4 to 6 p.m., on Sunday, at Coffel-Schneider Chapel, in Pleasanton. The family suggests contributions to the Shriner's Children Hospital.
