Seventh grade volleyball defeats Joplin South

The Nevada Middle School seventh grade volleyball A and B teams each added another strong victory to their records as they hosted Joplin South Monday night.

Joplin was never really able to find much of a rhythm in the B match as Nevada jumped out early and never looked back. After allowing a total of 26 points in both of the two sets combined, Nevada cruised to a two-set victory by the final scores of 25-12 and 25-19.

The A match was a very similar story as Nevada didn't seem to get much competition out of Joplin. The second set was much better for Joplin's offense than the first, but Nevada was still able to hold on to win both sets, 25-12 and 25-19.

The next action for the seventh graders was scheduled for Tuesday night as they were set to head to El Dorado Springs Middle School.
