Barbara Ann Dockery, age 65, passed away Sept. 22, 2009, in her Nevada, home following a prolonged illness. Barbara was born to Dan Fredrick Henry and Mary Ida (Boltinghouse) Henry on October 6, 1943.
She married Loren Curtis Dockery on June 18, 1960 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. To this union two sons were born. Barbara enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and quilting, not to mention spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were: her parents Dan and Mary Henry; her husband Loren Dockery; her brother Bob Henry; and her grandson Andy Wayn Dockery, Jr.
Survivors include two sons: Andy Dockery and Michael Dockery, both of Nevada; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Bill Henry of California; and one sister, Wilma Pippin of El Dorado Springs, Mo.
The family received friends at the Bland-Hackleman Chapel in El Dorado Springs on Friday, Sept. 25, from 6-7 p.m., Funeral services for Barbara Ann Dockery were held on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 2 p.m. at the Bland-Hackleman Chapel with the Rev. Brent Bland officiating. Interment will followed in the St. James Ridge Cemetery, near Milford, Mo.
Pallbearers are: Carter Pugh, Eddie Stanhope, Drew Blake, Max Walters, Fernando Zatien, and Keith Anderson. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
