Culinary arts student Victoria Ireland gets all dressed up in her new Viva paper towels chef costume, with the help of Tom Mooneyhan, while Taste of Home Cooking School Culinary Specialist Danielle Edmonds encourages him and the crowd of hundreds at the event, held Tuesday in the auditorium at Nevada High School cheered. Meanwhile, across the stage, fellow student Stacey Hubbard was wrapped up in her own tailoring session with the help of another volunteer. Numerous prizes, including a case of Viva paper towels won by Mooneyhan for his skill as a tailor, were given away. Taste of Home's Dinner on a Dime cookbook, above, also was available for purchase at the event. --Photos by Lynn A. Wade/Daily Mail

Wished I could have attended, but I am taking classes in Joplin on Tuesday nights. Does anyone know if there are still cookbooks for sale and if so where? thanks
I am sorry you missed the show. It was great fun. I heard there are still a few cookbooks available at the Chamber of Commerce office in the Carnegie Bldg. 225 W Austin. This year there was a Dinner on a Dime Cookbook, Baking Cookbook and Revised Taste of Home Cookbook. You may call 417-667-5300 and I am sure they will have more information.
