Out of the 12-team field, the Lady Tigers took home fifth place, finishing behind Bolivar, Barstow, Notre Dame de Sion and Pembroke Hill.
"Not too bad," Lady Tigers head coach Samantha Short said. "If Daven (Smith) and Katlyn (Short) had won their round, we could have placed fourth."
After a first-round bye, Smith and Short lost in the second round of the No. 1 doubles bracket. In No. 2 doubles, Ashley McKinley and Katie Brauer won their first round match before losing in the second round as well.
Leah Creasy had similar luck in the No. 1 doubles bracket as she won her first-round match before losing in the second round. Freshman Regan Kimbrough put on the best performance of the day for the Lady Tigers as she won in both her first- and second-round matches before being eliminated in the quarterfinals.
