Nevada Middle School football falls at Carthage

CARTHAGE, Mo. -- The Nevada Middle School seventh grade A and B teams both suffered tough road losses Tuesday as they took on Carthage Middle School.

In the B game, Joe Reed scored the only touchdown of the night for Nevada as the Tigers of Carthage took a 10-point win by the final score of 16-6. The A game wasn't any better for Nevada as Ryan Ferris recorded their only touchdown in a 36-8 Carthage victory.

With those losses, the A team finished their season with an overall record of 1-5 while the B team ended up 2-3.
