Timing is everything and the timing of the publication of a recent legal notice of an upcoming trustee's sale is causing some confusion for Brian L. Leonard and his wife Rhonda.

Leonard, who is a candidate for city council, said that he and his wife own their home and are not the owners of the property to be sold on the courthouse steps Nov. 19.
