Habitat luncheon set for Nov. 11

The Habitat for Humanity Baked Potato Luncheon will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall at the corner of Austin and Cedar streets.

Visitors should enter through the south door.

Deliveries can be ordered Tuesday, Nov. 10, by calling Hagans Realty, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., at (417) 667-6714 or by sending a fax to (417) 667-3508. Last minute orders can be placed by calling (417) 684-2666 on Wednesday morning. The luncheon includes a baked potato with toppings, homemade pie and drink. Drinks are not included with delivered orders. Proceeds from will be used for materials in the building of the Nevada affiliate's 11th house, which is now under consturciotn at 915 N. Oak St.

A tornado shelter which has already been installed is available for public inspection.

I am new to the Nevada Community but I have been welcomed by some of the nicest people in the world. I do volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity of Nevada because it is the most rewarding program serving my community. Thank you for making sure our community knows about our fundraising luncheon.
