Nevada, Mo. -- Frank Arnold works on painting a patriot on the floor of the National Guard Armory Tuesday as Nevada voters head to the polls. Arnold said he had been working on the painting for several weeks. "It took about a week trying to get the old paint up," from an earlier design on the floor. Arnold said. "We've been painting now for about three-and-a-half weeks." --Steve Moyer/Herald-Tribune
