All-Conference volleyball selections announced

Several players from area schools have received All-Conference honors for the 2009 volleyball season.

Hume High School was represented by three first-team, two second-team and one honorable mention selection while Bronaugh had one first-teamer, two second-teamers and two honorable mentions. Sheldon High School got in on the action as well with one second-team selection and one honorable mention.

For Hume, Carlee Campbell, Katie Orear and Sara Farrar all made the first team while Makena Thompson and Taylor Morrison were both selected to the second team and Sara Wikoff earned an honorable mention. Bronaugh's Kaitlin Douglas earned first-team honors while Vanessa Langford and Amanda Kimsey were selected to the second team and Ashley Willis and Alexis Foreman each earned honorable mentions.

For Sheldon, Erica Conner made the second team and Lexi Rawlings earned an honorable mention.
